Impact’s Retirement Road Map
Impact Technologies Group (Charlotte, N.C.) launched its Retirement Road Map sales system, which assists financial advisers in retirement planning for baby boomers. An add-on to PlanLab, Impact's financial sales and collaboration application, Retirement Road Map creates a marketing program for retiree clients and provides advisers with needs analysis necessary for determining the appropriate planning options, according to the company.
The product calculates retirement incomes, including Social Security benefits, pensions, annuities and other income sources, compares the information to the client's retirement needs and determines the shortfall. It then creates an investment strategy for each year of retirement to ensure the targeted annual income while optimizing investments.
"Decisions at the start of retirement impact an overall financial plan for the balance of the client's life," said Maxey Sanderson, vice president of product development for Impact, in a release.
