Neil Wilks, formerly global functional head for financial control IT at UBS, has been appointed senior technology officer for Barclays' central support unit. In addition, Barclays' investment banking division, Barclays Capital, hired William Murphy as a director of Latin America corporate trading. Murphy brings more than 15 years of experience in trading Latin American corporate debt, most recently at Libertas Partners.

Suzanne Poulin has joined GFI as the e-commerce business developer for its FENICS dealFX solution. She joins GFI from Superderivatives, where she spent four years as an FX derivatives specialist.

TABB Group has hired fixed-income expert Andy Nybo as a senior consultant. Nybo most recently was head of marketing and corporate communications at Market Axess.
