Flow-Based Anomaly Detection
Westford, Mass.-based NetScout Systems released nGenius Analytics, an application flow-based anomaly detection system for automated network and application performance management. The solution applies statistical behavior modeling and anomaly detection to application flow data to deliver early warnings of performance issues. NGenius also provides initial problem diagnostics, improving business service reliability, says NetScout.
"Performance issues will intensify as service delivery infrastructures become more interdependent," noted Jeffrey Nudler, senior analyst at Enterprise Management Associates, in a release. "To maintain high IT service levels ... operations teams will have to deploy technologies enabling granular flow metrics and automated analysis."
