- Royal Bank of Scotland has gone live with RealtimeXL from Mighter Gissing, a Kent, United Kingdom-based software vendor. RealtimeXL offers the ability for RBS's users to contribute and retrieve real-time market data within Microsoft Excel. In addition, the solution enables price recalculation so that cells in Microsoft Excel are refreshed on an individual basis, instead of refreshing the entire spreadsheet.
- SectorNet extranet service now offers additional equity market-data feeds. The solution, from Sector, a New York City-based data-distribution provider, now includes CT/CQ, NYSE OpenBook, Options Price Reporting Authority, and NYSE Liquidity Quote. Sector is a subsidiary of the Securities Industry Automation Corporation.
- Fame Information Services, a New York City-based historical and reference-data solutions provider, has released ICE North American Gas and Power Indices. The indices will be available through Fame's EnergyScope and EnergyServer software solutions.
