TradeMonster Celebrates 5-Year Anniversary
TradeMonster, the online retail brokerage that was launched five years ago during the financial crisis, is celebrating its fifth anniversary with $5.00 flat execution commissions today for equity and options trades. In addition, the brokerage's parent company has assumed the tradeMonster designation and has been named tradeMonster Group, Inc.
The brokerage, which launched at a very bad time (during the most recent financial crisis), has been a leader in offering full-feature mobile trading apps to customers and has one numerous awards. Sanjib Sahoo, tradeMonster's CTO, has also won industry awards for his technology leadership.
TradeMonster has been an industry leader in setting a new standard for innovation, user experience and service in retail trading, while continuing to pursue its founding mission of delivering "Anytime, Anywhere Trading." In February, it launched tradeMonster Mobile and was first in the industry to define user experience by offering customers a responsive, mobile design mirroring the ease of use of its award winning web platform. In June, it launched the first HTML5-based iPad app in the online brokerage industry, offering a wide range of TradeMonster's trading tools.
Dirk Mueller-Ingrand co-founder and CEO of tradeMonster Group, commented, "We take the most pride in our continued push towards coupling the very best trading technology with superior service and education. While some companies ease off the innovation throttle as they age, we are continuing to surprise our customers and the industry with product ideas intended to inspire those looking for control of their financial future."
"Having such an amazing team, an extremely supportive shareholder base as well as such great business partners has allowed us to focus on delivering lasting value to our customers," Says Mueller-Ingrand added in a statement.
Earlier this year, tradeMonster Group, Inc., the parent of tradeMonster and optionMONSTER, won the Illinois Technology Association "Outstanding Technology Development" CityLIGHTS Award for tradeMonster Mobile, their markedly innovative and patent pending mobile trading app, while its CTO, Sanjib Sahoo, was awarded the 2013 CIO of the Year by The Executives' Club of Chicago, the Association of Information Technology Professionals and the Society of Information Management.
