He adds, "Our aspiring developers, quantitative analysts and FEs will have the opportunity to become acclimated to the industry standard for analytics software and come to understand how theory and quantitative methods can be applied to a real-world framework."

"Numerix is committed to supporting Colleges and Universities globally in their education of Financial Engineering students and professionals in the derivatives and finance industry, and are excited to have such a well-respected University join our prestigious program," says Steven R. O'Hanlon, president & COO of Numerix.

He adds, "As a result of our partnership, UC Berkeley students can gain a competitive advantage when entering the workforce. They will also receive priority consideration for participation in specialized internship programs and potential employment at Numerix."
