Real-Time Reports on the Go
Pyxis Mobile (Waltham, Mass.) has added the mDashboard to its mPlatform suite of wireless financial applications. Compatible with any BlackBerry device from Research in Motion (Waterloo, Ontario, Canada), the real-time reporting tool acts as a mobile extension of desktop systems, allowing bank managers, asset managers and hedge funds to access enterprise information from disparate databases while away from the office, according to the company.
Through Pyxis' mReports, which integrates with existing enterprise data sources to provide summaries of daily activities, mDashboard users can access business information such as industry-specific news, financial updates and IT status from their handheld devices via the mDashboard Executive screen in real time. Sales reports also can be viewed, both as tabular data or in graphical form. Further, mDashboard allows executives to create reports with their handheld devices using a graphical administrative console.
