Noll New Pioneer CIO

Pioneer Investment Management USA hired Peter Noll as SVP and CTO. He will report to EVP and COO Mark Goodwin. "Peter will play a key role in upgrading our investment systems to accommodate our rapid growth, and our expansion into new products and markets," says Goodwin in an e-mail.

Noll most recently served as an independent technology consultant. He previously was CIO for MFS Investment Management and also held positions with State Street Corp., Tandem Computers, Data Architects and Burroughs Computer. "Peter's broad base of technology, operations and development knowledge will be a strong asset," said Pioneer president and CEO Osbert Hood in a release.
