FinancialContent plans to launch new subscription-based market information feed and a new enterprise-class instant-messaging system. The StreetIQ service will include tools and trading alerts with a graphical user interface for quick data retrieval and management. Firms will also be able to consolidate existing content subscriptions into the StreetIQ platform with administrative control over the content made available to users.

Sector Inc. has appointed Fred Del Gaudio as President and Chief Executive Officer. He will be responsible for evolving and building new Sector products and services. Most recently, Del Gaudio was running an independent consulting practice specializing in disaster recovery and business-continuity planning projects. He has also previously held senior-level positions with EMC, UBS PaineWebber, Goldman Sachs, Bankers Trust and Infocrossing.

HyperFeed's Software Development Kits have been "Exchange Approved" by all North American stocks exchanges. This Exchange Approval status enables HyperFeed to offer its SDK customers comprehensive managed exchange services like user authentication and exchange reporting. Approved SDKs include COM, Java, Unix/Linux, Windows, Visual Basic and C++.

Bloomberg has launched its multimedia portal, AV GO for video and audio files to be delivered to Bloomberg Professional users. Through AV GO users will be able to watch Bloomberg Television, listen to Bloomberg Radio and access stories in video and audio formats within their desktop environment. Users with news alert filters will be able to receive e-mail alerts on upcoming interviews and can then watch them live from their desktops or archive them for later use.
