Princeton Softech, a database-archiving vendor, has announced a solution that enables institutions to access, manage and selectively restore archived data. The solution, Archive for Servers 5.2, supports EMC's Centera Compliance Edition content addressed storage. According to Princeton Softech, the solution meets requirements for auditing, reporting, business and legislation compliance for relational database content that is archived and managed by EMC's Centera Compliance Edition CAS.
Edgar Online, a Connecticut-based distributor of SEC filings, has released a new version of EdgarPro, a desktop that includes SEC Edgar filings and other related public company data. The upgrade includes company profiles with one-click access, folders for personalization of information, section navigation and printing to identify specific sections of documents, and Section 16 filing support for "insider" filings.
HyperFeed Technologies recently selected Savvis Communications to deliver North American and international-exchange access via Savvis' Intelligent IP Network, a private multicast network. The multicast network operates using intelligent routing from a main network based on client selection of data. HyperFeed will use Savvis' network to provide its Managed Exchange Platform Services, including exchange data, historical data, and news, to financial institutions, value-added distributors and trading professionals. Savvis' Intelligent IP Network connects over 4700 financial institutions to financial applications in 45 countries.
