List Group Releases CEP and Algo Trading Engine

List Group, the electronic trading software provider behind 15 European electronic markets, has launched its Brain3 (B3) advanced complex event processing (CEP) and algorithmic trading engine.

The B3 CEP engine enables real-time monitoring and analysis of even streams and parallel development of customized and complex strategies. It is fully integrated with List’s Flagship platform.

In a statement, Stefano Falciani, managing director at List UK, said, “B3 not only allows you to back test, but also measures the effectiveness of your algos interacting with previous day’s market data via a playback function or in real time by mirroring real time market data.”

B3 also offers real-time data collection and database storage for analysis of data instantly from external sources. The analytics packages lets firms simplify and optimize the development of custom strategies based on financial algorithms.
