FIX Flyer Delivers Trading Solutions Via Equinix

FIX Flyer said it now offers a hosted solution inside global data center provider Equinix’s International Business Exchange (IBX).

The FIX Flyer Solution inside Equinix’s global platform helps service providers and independent software vendors organize their FIX connectivity as part of an overall private cloud strategy, the release states.

By teaming with Equinix, ISVs and developers can further monetize the value of their connectivity and trade processing, and help customers access on-demand FIX resources where and when they need it – at any time, across the globe.

FIX Flyer is essentially hosting its managed FIX technology in the Equinix global data centers. This includes FIX connectivity management, FIX certification, self-service monitoring, IP security as well as translation and tag filtering on demand. A number of service providers— including Market Street Advisors and FolioDynamix— have turned to FIX Flyer to deliver their services to customers.

FIX Flyer automatically manages and optimizes the distribution of FIX (Financial Information Exchange) connectivity, independent of its geographic location.

FIX Flyer is essentially hosting its managed FIX technology in the Equinix global data centers. This includes FIX connectivity management, FIX certification, self-service monitoring, IP security as well as translation and tag filtering on demand.

In particular, mid-sized brokerages leverage the combination of FIX Flyer on Platform Equinix to manage all of their trade connectivity to their institutional clients, eliminating the hassle and expense of using third party VPN providers.
