DTN Mobile allows the transient trader access to market data, industry news and weather updates on any mobile device with a wireless Web service and a WAP 2.0 Web browser, including BlackBerry, PalmOne Treo and many recent cell phone models, according to DTN.

DTN Mobile market data is provided by the DTN ticker plant, which delivers auto-refreshing quotes as the market moves. Weather-related news and forecasts are provided by DTN's in-house staff of meteorologists.

Users of the service can create multiple watch lists, customizing their data feeds based on their needs and interests. According to DTN, the availability of real-time commodity, equity and option prices on mobile devices enables traders on the move to take advantage of fast-moving profit opportunities.
