Schutzer to Head FSTC
The Financial Services Technology Consortium (FSTC) appointed long-time member Daniel Schutzer to the lead role as executive director. Reporting to the board of directors, Schutzer will be responsible for running the FSTC operations on a day-to-day basis, and helping to formulate and execute the industry organization's strategy.
Prior to accepting the executive director role at the FSTC, Schutzer served as senior vice president and director of the enterprise technology office at Citigroup. He also has held management roles at IBM and in the U.S. Navy.
One of the founding members of the FSTC, Schutzer was and has remained involved with the organization, serving on various committees and project teams since its inception in 1991. "I've always had a strong interest in the organization," he says, noting that he looks forward to "the challenge of taking an organization I helped to build up and helping it grow."--CL
