TD Ameritrade Customers Track Positions in Real Time
TD Ameritrade is providing stock charts from www.FreestockCharts.com to its customers, according to Worden Brothers, which launched a new version of the charts last week. The Internet-based charting software now automatically tracks live positions for TD Ameritrade customers in real time. "Your live portfolio will automatically appear and your positions will show up on your charts with profits and losses," stated Worden in the release. TD Ameritrade and Worden Brothers are partners, according to the vendor's spokesperson. "This is a fabulous feature and remarkably convenient for tracking your trades from any computer in the world," added Worden.
In terms of technology, www.FreeStockCharts.com uses Silverlight3, Microsoft's Flash competitor for rich Web experiences, allowing both Mac and Windows users to run the software.
