Bank of New York has introduced a collateral-management service, which automatically pools and allocates collateral according to client need. This approach, which BONY refers to as dynamic-continuous optimization, uses a proprietary algorithm to optimally allocate a client's available collateral to satisfy its obligations. The process can be tailored according to the client to adhere to business or relationship parameters that may apply to an account.
FaceTime Communications has launched its IM Auditor Enterprise product to centrally manage and control instant-messaging communications. The product manages and controls messaging between employees, partners and customers, without requiring a change to the existing messenger client or IM network community. Centralized control and risk-management functions include advanced corporate-directory integration, local routing of public IM communications, secure user authorization, advanced monitoring and intercept, enterprise-application integration and compliance-auditing workflow.
Kiodex has released an enhanced version of its Kiodex Risk Workbench platform for risk management, financial reporting and regulatory compliance. The new functionality includes modules for value-at-risk and cash-flow-at-risk, foreign-exchange tools, physical-settlement capability, transportation and storage, invoices and swaptions.
