Joe McHugh appointed group CFO of SunGard Trading and Risk Systems; Summit Systems appoints Theresa Renaud to the position of director of marketing for the firm's NY headquarters office; ERisk releases an executive information system for strategic capital management.

Joe McHugh has been appointed group chief financial officer of SunGard Trading and Risk Systems, based in London. Previously, McHugh served as financial director for the European operations of Internet Capital Group. McHugh first joined SunGard in 1990 as a financial controller and held other finance positions before leaving in 1999. Additionally, SunGard Trading and Risk Systems has acquired Alpha-Numeric Developments (AND), a credit risk software development and consultancy firm. The AND acquisition aims enhance research, development and implementation efforts for Credient, SunGard's global ASP credit risk management and control service. Under the agreement, AND will become part of SunGard Trading and Risk Systems with a team of credit risk developers and project managers continuing operations at its Oxford research and development center.

Summit Systems has appointed Theresa Renaud to the position of director of marketing for the firm's New York headquarters office. Renaud will be responsible for supervising Summit's North American marketing activities and developing new globally-focused strategies. Renaud was previously a business development and sales manager for SGI, a maker of graphics workstations and servers. She has also worked as a marketing executive with financial software vendor NumeriX. Summit also appointed Jean-Luc Lefebvre to the position of product strategy manager for the New York office's product development group. Lefebvre has been in sales and marketing with Summit for five years. He will be responsible for positioning future product developments as well as providing marketing research and trend analysis for Summit.

ERisk has released an executive information system for strategic capital management. The ERisk Analytics 1.0 is an Internet-based software solution offering executives easy-to implement capital management analytics. The product incorporates a range of enterprise-wide risk management functionality and delivers Economic Capital and Risk-Adjusted Return on Capital (RAROC) framework for linking risk to required capital.
