DerivaTech appoints Paul Tennola, to chief operating officer; Tamesis appoints Leonie Alsop to head of global marketing.

Paul Tennola has been appointed chief operating officer of DerivaTech, a provider of components-based front-end applications for currency derivatives. Previously, Tennola served as COO and CFO of Incent, Inc., a developer of Web-based decision support software for financial and insurance companies. At DerivaTech Tennola will focus on the firm's global growth strategy as well as operational support and resources for customer relations.

Tamesis, a provider of real-time risk management and trading solutions for investment banks, has appointed Leonie Alsop to head of global marketing. She will be responsible for the development and implementation of international marketing and public relations initiatives for Tamesis. Alsop previously served as director of group marketing at Financial Objects and has worked at Bacmac Limited where she oversaw marketing and event management for the company's treasury and risk management systems.
