To address the complexities of network management in large enterprises, Insightix launched the Insightix Management Center. According to the vendor, the software enables an enterprise to see and establish control over its entire IT infrastructure.

Management Center aggregates real-time network information obtained through network discovery, monitoring and access control processes that exist on a disparate infrastructure, Insightix says. The solution also includes a Web-based user interface to manage configuration and operation over multiple networks.

"IT networks in the financial services industry are commonly distributed over several geographic locations," said Tony Miller, marketing director at Framingham, Mass.-based Insightix. "Management Center serves as the logical starting point for [Sarbanes-Oxley] and other compliance initiatives by aggregating complete IT asset information in real time from the entire IT infrastructure."
