Wealth Planning With Advice

AdviceAmerica launched AdvisorVision 4.0, a Web-based wealth-planning platform for financial advisers that can run in-house or as a hosted application. "This platform allows the financial adviser to be more productive," says Purna Pareek, CEO and founder of Advice-America. "It helps [an adviser] understand the client's objectives, needs and dreams, and comes up with a blueprint on how to achieve those goals."

AdvisorVison 4.0 links advisers to data sources and lets a company centrally control advice and disclosures to the client, according to the vendor. One of the key features is a rules-based engine that generates actionable advice. After the adviser (or client) enters data, the system calculates a goal shortfall and offers advice on how to correct it, such as how much money to invest in a 529 Plan for college savings.

AdvisorVision 4.0 connects with enterprise or legacy systems, such as CRM systems, back-office systems and clearing systems using XML and Web services for integration to limit the amount of live-data entry.
