Price Joins TowerGroup

Tom Price joined TowerGroup as a senior analyst in its Capital Markets research service. Price, most recently a senior analyst at wealth management and investment technology provider SEI Investments, will focus on business and technology trends that are shaping the sell-side landscape. According to Price, his diverse experience will serve him well at TowerGroup. "My breadth of experience gives me a more well-rounded perspective," he says. Prior to joining SEI, Price held management positions at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, Goldman Sachs and Salomon Brothers, and served as a consultant at ADP, Bank of New York and Citicorp Services.

So, what has that experience taught him? "It's not the technology that wags the dog," Price says. "Changes and transformation in the market drive technology innovation, not the other way around."
