Polish Central Securities Depository Chooses Microsoft BizTalk Server as Financial Messaging Platform

The Polish National Depository for Securities (KDPW) is implementing Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT for the transport, management and exchange of more than 4 million SWIFT transactions per year, Microsoft announced at At SIBOS 2008 in Vienna. KDPW is responsible for the management and supervision of clearing and settlement in Poland and it will use leverage BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT to help about 10 domestic and global customers connect to SWIFT. Currently being implemented, KDPW's adoption the the product as its financial messaging platform for the future is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2008.

"As the primary organization for the facilitation of clearing and settlement in Poland, KDPW strives to provide its customers with the highest global standards, including those for full securities dematerialization," said Sawomir Panasiuk, member of the management board, KDPW, in a statement. Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT integrates quickly and easily with SWIFT Alliance, providing global connectivity with SWIFTNet. It provides a comprehensive, reliable and highly secure platform for the delivery of financial messages, and integrates into KDPW's mainframe system.
