Questar Asset Management, a registered investment adviser affiliated with Minneapolis-based broker-dealer Questar Capital Corp., released its new Wealth Designs platform through FundQuest, a provider of turnkey asset management solutions. Advisers can use the Wealth Designs platform to gather information about their clients' objectives and automate the production of investment proposal recommendations, Questar Asset Management says. The solution generates investment performance reports on an ongoing basis.
The fee-based platform features three product options: mutual funds; separate accounts, which consist of a mix of investment products and allow investors to dictate investment restrictions; and unified managed accounts (UMAs). "Our new Wealth Designs platform equips our investment professionals with a diverse product selection and an advanced capability to adapt to the specific needs of investors," said Bill Kennedy, VP of sales, Questar Asset Management, in a release.
