JPMorgan’s Kerry Williams Leaves for SwapsWire
SwapsWire, the derivatives straight-through-processing system owned by a consortium of dealers, appointed Kerry Williams CTO as part of a recent expansion of its technology team.
The new CTO says he plans to help SwapsWire gear up for entrance into new product areas. "I think that there's a lot of opportunity for us in doing the same kind of thing for equity derivatives and credit derivatives as we've done for interest rate derivatives," says Williams. "There's an opportunity for us to grow very quickly."
Williams most recently was with JPMorgan, where he served as CTO for, among other things, client relationship management, mergers and acquisitions, and global currencies and commodities. He also has held positions with the institutions formerly known as Swiss Bank Corp. (now part of UBS) and the Industrial Bank of Japan (now part of Mizuho Financial Group). --C.L.
