Investment Management Newsflashes
Portfolio Director Offers Enhanced Client Billing
Portfolio Systems, a Hollidaysburg, Pa.-based investment management technology provider, has completed the development of a billing module for its flagship product, Portfolio Director.
Through the new module, billing templates can now be assigned and customized to specific client accounts or groups of accounts. Users have the ability to invoice in advance, in arrears, monthly, quarterly or annually. Advisers also have the ability to maintain historical records of client fees and payments. This latest enhancement will be included at no charge to Portfolio Director clients.
"Our newest module allows us to quickly provide advisers billing templates to enable them to calculate billing invoices based on complex algorithms such as tiered billing and average account value," said Bob Yacobucci, Portfolio Systems' president, in a press release. "It saves advisers a lot of time and headaches since they no longer have to calculate this information by hand."
Vontobel Asset Management Selects Citigroup for Separately Managed Accounts Servicing Platform
Vontobel Asset Management, a European institutional money manager, has chosen Citigroup to provide operations service support for Vontobel's retail separate accounts.
"Due to Citigroup's historical presence and capabilities in the Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) space, they were a natural choice to provide operations support service for us," said Fredy Nyffeler, chief financial officer, Vontobel Asset Management, in a press release. "We believe Citigroup will continue to deliver a best-in-class operations model to allow us -- both now and in the future -- to profitably and efficiently expand in the SMA marketplace."
