Cheswick Investment Company Implements Centralized Data Model
Cheswick Investment Company, a Rowayton, Conn.-based firm with $455 million in assets under management, recently went live with an INDATA I.M.S. for Windows system. INDATA is a software solutions provider for investment management firms, and its I.M.S. for Windows product suite is designed for trade order management, compliance and portfolio accounting. The system utilizes an industry standard relational database platform (Microsoft SQL Server 2000) that results in a real-time, modular, open architecture solution.
According to Cheswick Investment Company President Susan Brewer, the firm chose to convert to the live technology infrastructure for greater data access flexibility and operational efficiency. "The INDATA system gives us the tools to better control the data through all core functional areas of portfolio modeling/trade order management, compliance and attribution," she said in the release.
