Fort Washington Investment Advisors Selects Eagle Investment Systems for Portfolio Management Cincinnati-based Fort Washington Investment Advisors, has deployed Eagle Investment Systems' (West Hartford, Conn.) portfolio management, performance measurement and information delivery solutions to help manage $25 billion in assets for fixed income, balanced and equity strategies.
"Eagle Investment Systems has helped us improve internal automation while providing the functionality to calculate performance according to our specific needs," said Mark Frietch, vice president of investment operations, Fort Washington Investment Advisors, in the press release.
Fort Washington cited proven scalability and the ability to centralize accounting data in one location as key factors in choosing Eagle Investment Systems. The company sought a solution capable of meeting a number of key requirements: the ability to support multiple lines of business and synchronize its data from multiple accounting systems; a performance system to calculate daily and monthly returns for portfolios, AIMR composites, regular composites, benchmarks, custom blended benchmarks and performance attribution; and a report distribution mechanism to disseminate results to portfolio managers.
To address these requirements, Fort Washington implemented Eagle PACE, a data hub and portfolio management solution; Eagle Performance, the performance measurement and reporting module of Eagle PACE; and Eagle Portal, a Web-based information delivery application. Additionally, Fort Washington's operations group is using Eagle's performance analysis OLAP and performance query reports to verify and research results.
