Investment Management Newsflashes: Portfolio Director for Advisors Interfaces With TD Waterhouse and Ameritrade, and more
Portfolio Systems, a Hollidaysburg, Pa.-based provider of investment-management technology products, today announced it has completed interfaces with TD Waterhouse Institutional and Ameritrade Institutional. These interfaces are now available at no extra charge and add to an existing roster of interfaces including Fidelity, Schwab, brokersXpress and Penson among others.
"These new interfaces offer Advisors using TD Waterhouse Institutional and Ameritrade Institutional an easy solution to consolidate their client data. And best of all, they are being provided at no extra charge," said Bob Yacobucci, Portfolio Systems president, in a press release.
These two new interfaces enhance Portfolio Director's consolidated reporting functionality. Viewing a client's investments across multiple investment custodians now can include TD Waterhouse Institutional and Ameritrade Institutional if applicable. "Advisors and investors like to see how their accounts are performing in one view regardless of where the assets are held," Yacobucci added.
--BISYS Expands Relationship with JO Hambro Investment Management
BISYS, an outsourcing-solutions provider to the financial-services sector, has expanded its outsourcing relationship with London-based JO Hambro Investment Management, an investment management boutique owned by Credit Suisse Private Banking with $4 billion in assets under administration. JO Hambro selected BISYS to provide a full-service administration model including fund accounting, financial administration, transfer agency, corporate secretarial and anti-money laundering for the Waverton Investment Funds. BISYS currently provides fund-administration services for the firm. "We are particularly pleased with the market response to our latest product launch -- the Waverton Funds," said Andrew Steel, chief operating officer of JO Hambro Investment Management, in the press release. "In support of the product, we are delighted to be expanding our relationship with BISYS."
--Bank Thai Selects DSTi's HiPortfolio for Custodian Business
Bank Thai, a government-run bank in Thailand, recently selected HiPortfolio/3, DSTi's portfolio-administration and fund-accounting solution. DSTi is an investment management technology provider based in the UK.
According to a statement by Nukrak Baiyueng, assistant managing director of Bank Thai, the bank chose DSTi because it wanted a proven solution used by custodians and fund managers. "As more than 60 percent of the custodians in Thailand are using DSTi's HiPortfolio software, we are confident that our business operations will be properly supported," he said in the press release.
