First National Wealth Management Selects INDATA I.M.S. for Trade Order Management
Phoenix, Ariz.-based First National Wealth Management has gone live with the INDATA I.M.S. Precision Trading Solution through an interface with the SunGard Charlotte Trust Accounting solution. The INDATA I.M.S. system will provide a suite of products for compliance, trade order management, portfolio management and CRM.
"Having launched our Division in March of 2004, we knew that it would be important to put a trade order management system in place to accommodate our growth in assets," commented Mike Weigel, Senior Vice President, First National Wealth Management, in the press release. "Now that the INDATA system is in place, we are able to completely automate our trading process, which allows us to focus on our investments and maximize our client relationships."
SEC Names Meyer Eisenberg Acting Director of Division of Investment Management
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) named Meyer Eisenberg acting director of the Commission's Division of Investment Management.
Since 1998, Eisenberg has served as Deputy General Counsel for the Commission. In that role, he has been responsible for issues arising under the Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act. He has served as the principal liaison between the Office of General Counsel and the Division of Investment Management on all matters involving investment advisers, investment companies, their service providers and their distributors.
"Mike is a distinguished member of the securities bar and his history of service to the Commission and to the investing public is unmatched. I am delighted that he has agreed to serve as Acting Division Director during this interim period," said Chairman William Donaldson in a formal statement.
Princor Financial Services Selects Albridge Solutions for Web-Based Portfolio Accounting and Performance Reporting
Princor Financial Services, the registered broker-dealer of the Principal Financial Group (PFG), has selected Albridge Solutions' web-based wealth reporting application for its registered representatives. Albridge Solutions' data interface capabilities will consolidate the proprietary mutual fund and insurance products offered by PFG along with brokerage and other non-proprietary investments to provide Princor registered representatives with an automated and comprehensive view of their clients' assets.
Looking to expand its virtual office capabilities, Princor also will be utilizing Albridge's Web Services platform. Albridge Web Services will pass valuable consolidated client, account and holding information from the Albridge web application to other critical applications used by Princor representatives in their practices, such as eMoney Advisor for financial planning and Morningstar's Advisor Work Station for mutual fund analytics.
Princor Financial Services also has subscribed to Albridge's Replicated Data Services to help expand the back office data warehousing capabilities at Princor. Albridge's data replication delivers a fully reconciled and consolidated set of files encompassing the prior day's investment activity, including transaction and position data.
