UBS Wealth Management Americas Picks Thomson Reuters News

News will be integrated into the firm's ConsultWorks platform.

UBS Wealth Management Americas has signed a multi-year agreement to provide Thomson Reuters North American Wealth Management News services to its financial advisor desktops through its ConsultWorks platform.

Thomson Reuters North American Wealth Management is a news service exclusively designed for wealth managers. While some news services focus only on equity markets, Thomson Reuters provides in depth coverage of the cross assets, including equity, foreign exchange, fixed income and credit markets, according to the company’s release.

UBS Advisors will have access to some of the most popular Thomson Reuters services including Top New, The Day Ahead and exclusives from Reuters Summits. Reuters Top News is an interactive Web display of the day’s top news stories, prioritized throughout the business day, while The Day Ahead provides users with a view of market activity, stocks, upcoming company and economic data and analysis on hot topics.

“This deal underscores the long standing relationship Thomson Reuters has with UBS Wealth Management Americas and affirms our mutual commitment to provide UBS advisors with the best content and platform, enabling them to provide effective advice to their clients,” stated Jim Holmes, president, Focus Group Accounts, Thomson Reuters, in the release.

The ConsultWorks integrated desktop platform provides UBS Wealth Management Financial Advisors with an array of tools, including financial planning, client reporting, relationship management, research, portfolio management, business intelligence and order entry services.
