Ramius Implements HedgeSphere

Ramius Alternative Solutions has selected Infonic AG's HedgeSphere solution to fulfill its portfolio administration and planning needs.

Ramius is a fund of hedge fund operator and alternative solution provider, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cowen Group.

"The Ramius Alternative Solutions business model is to provide customized solutions for clients across the alternative investment universe," says Hubert Krassnitzer, vice president, Ramius Alternative Solutions.

He continues, "These solutions encompass a variety of investment structures and instruments which require effective and adaptable operational structures. We believe that HedgeSphere not only allows us to efficiently manage these operational processes with regards to fund accounting, but also supports us in effectively managing our overall trade cycle, automating investor reports and meeting increasing regulatory standards."
