PhilipCapital Partners With RTS Realtime Systems Group

Plans to offer low-latency algo trading solutions to institutional trading houses via the Singapore Exchange's platform.

Philip Capital has signed an agreement with RTS Realtime Systems Group to launch RTS’ low latency event-based algorithmic trading solutions to Philip Securities’ customers.

Philip Securities will offer RTS’ low latency algorithmic trading solutions to institutional trading houses, professional traders and institutional clients, the moment that low latency trading goes into full gear, according the company’s release. PhilipCapital is able to offer high performance and high-speed connectivity to the Singapore Exchanges’ platform and other leading international exchanges.

Philip Futures, a subsidiary of PhilipCapital, has already deployed RTS’ solutions to its customers in Singapore and across Asia. Philip Securities said RTS is suited to meet the needs institutional traders and would allow them to take advantage of opportunities through cash-futures arbitrage, statistical arbitrage and basket trading.

In a statement, Jeyson Ng, head of corporate and institutional sales at Phillip Securities, commented in the release: “High-speed infrastructure will bring about great efficiencies in the market and new opportunities for our institutional clients. We are pleased to work with RTS as a provider of choice for these customers with the highest standards of speed, performance, flexibility and reliability.”

To kick-off this partnership, Phillip Securities and RTS will be hosting a joint seminar on Tuesday, March 1.
