Newedge Names Stephen Davy Chief Information Officer

Global brokerage Newedge has named Stephen Davy Chief Information Officer for Newedge Americas and Head of Sales Technology globally.

Davy joins Newedge from Altria where he most recently served as corporate CIO. Davy previously held a position at Barclays Capital as head of technology for capital markets and trading.

In his new position, Davy will oversee Newedge Group’s technological support of its sales and customer service activities, as well as Newedge America’s Information Technology strategy, project oversight, team leadership and development, service and escalation; working in coordination with Jean-Luc Savignac, Newedge COO for the Americas. Davy will also play a key role in developing Newedge’s overall technology platform.
