Interactive Data Adds European Money Market Products to Evaluations Coverage

Interactive Data Corp. announced plans to add evaluated pricing for European money market products to its fixed income evaluations coverage, a move intended to complement the firm’s offering for similar U.S. and Asian instruments.

Interactive Data Corp. announced plans to add evaluated pricing for European money market products to its fixed income evaluations coverage, a move intended to complement the firm’s offering for similar U.S. and Asian instruments.

Interactive Data said that starting this month, the enhanced European coverage will include euro, sterling, and Swiss franc-denominated commercial paper as well as euro-denominated treasury bills. The firm added that it plans to increase coverage further by incorporating other currencies and security types at some point.

“With investment returning to European money market instruments and recent market volatility, our clients are keen to better understand their risk and mitigate uncertainty,” Anthony Belcher, the director of Interactive Data’s European fixed income segment said in a statement.

“The independent evaluated pricing we offer helps to meet clients’ obligations from the regulatory standpoint and minimize the operational risk inherent to performing evaluations in-house.”
