Fidessa Names Robert Thompson as President of North American Buy-Side Business

Consolidates oversight of buy and sell sides of the North American market.

Fidessa appointed Robert Thompson president of its North American buy-side operations, including the Latent Zero front office suite.

Thompson will now act across the Fidessa group in the Americas, where he has been COO of its sell-side operations for the lat 14 years. The move is designed to consolidate Fidessa's position in serving both the buy-and sell-sides of the market while sustaining momentum across the region.

"I look forward bringing my industry expertise to our buy-side business to help drive growth and development in that area, particularly as we continue our investment in the LatentZero product suite," commented Thompson in the release. " The combination of Fidessa’s buy-side and sell-side operations provides unique benefits to our customers. As we continue to increase the level of integration between the two sides of the business we will seek to enrich the customer experience by adding value, insight and innovation to all of our solutions.”
