Bloomberg Tradebook Beefs Up Research Offering

Bloomberg Tradebook, the agency broker division of the news and market data firm, announced the expansion of its research platform with the addition of several independent providers.

The Tradebook research platform - which already includes Thompson Research Group, Arete Research and Riedel Research Group – now also features research from IPO Financial Network, Roubini Global Economics, Sales Pulse Research, Turning Point Analytics, Two Rivers Analytics and Veritas Investment Research.

The firm said in a statement that in addition to research reports and events, Tradebook will also enable clients to connect directly with analysts, while enabling them to only pay for research they actually want. The service will also include specialized consultants who can provide users with tailored research.

"Bloomberg Tradebook designed these measures to help our clients get an edge with access to customized, relevant and actionable trading ideas from sources they can trust," Tradebook Chief Executive Ray Tierney said in a statement.
