Galper Exits TABB Group, Launches Vodia Group
Josh Galper left his position as a senior consultant at TABB Group to form research and advisory firm Vodia. According to Galper, whose title will be managing partner, Vodia will focus on corporate development; strategic partnerships; and mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. He says the firm will concentrate on financial services and financial technology companies on the institutional side. "I tend to take a more active approach and help [companies] grow," he says. Additionally, Galper continues, Vodia will develop and release research.
Galper, who spent a year and a half at TABB Group, says the parting was amicable. Prior to joining TABB Group, Galper was head of electronic trading from 2002 to 2003 at Sanford C. Bernstein, where he created a new trading venue and directed product development and execution, and served as a VP in Merrill Lynch's institutional division.
