TMX Group Implements New Order Entry Gateway

TMX Group has completed the implementation of its new TSX Quantum Order Entry Gateway to support the increase in messaging rates and performance demands from its trading community.

In a statement, Brenda Hoffman, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at TMX Group, said, “The average order response time is now five times faster because of the new gateway and other coordinated engine enhancements. The TMX Technology and Markets teams are proud of the very significant performance improvements we have provided to our equity trading clients.”

TMX Group is also undergoing new technology initiatives to upgrade internal networks to increase throughput capacity and expanding capacity to handle the increasing number of messages.
