StreamBase Connects to Chi-X Canada

StreamBase Systems said its complex event processing (CEP) software has been extended to connect to Chi-X Canada, the fully-anonymous alternative trading system for trading Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX)-listed senior equities. This offers a new venue on which StreamBase users can trade Canadian equities.

“We’re excited to announce the connectivity agreement, which will allow participants to have more choice in how they route orders to, and receive pricing information from, Chi-X Canada,” stated Dan Kessous, COO of Chi-X Canada.

StreamBase’s low-latency and high-throughput platform enables its clients to access a broader suite of equity exchanges and electronic venues in Canada with complete anonymity, superior low latency, greater liquidity and lower transaction costs, according to the CEP provider.
