Nasdaq OMX said it will expand its use of Correlix’s real-time latency measurement service to its Nordic segment, a move it said will improve trade execution for members of that exchange.

The exchange operator first deployed Correlix’s RaceTeam platform earlier this year for the Nasdaq exchange.

This new service addresses an important customer need, as latency has become a critical means to compete and craft trading strategies,” Hans-Ole Jochumsen, the president of Nasdaq OMX Nordic said in a statement. “Through expanding the RaceTeam service, we now also offer to our Nordic members objective latency benchmarking that can help them improve trade execution.”
