FutureTrade Taps Former Instinet Executive as COO
FutureTrade named Lee Siegfried as chief operating officer (COO), the independent provider of electronic equity and option execution services announced on Tuesday. As COO, Siegfried will manage the day-to-day operations of the business, including development, IT, quality assurance, product management and systems operations. Siegfried will report directly to FutureTrade president and CEO, Murray Finebaum.
With more than 30 years of experience in development, product and organizational management, Siegfried joins FutureTrade from shipper DHL Worldwide Express, where he was responsible for building its U.S. domestic business, including the integration of Airborne Express, which was acquired in 2003. Prior to that, Siegfried spent nine years at Instinet where he served as senior vice president of global client and technology services and was responsible for leading the electronic communication network's client services and IT organizations around the world during a period of rapid growth and global expansion.
FutureTrade has over 100 hedge fund and asset manager clients, with a total of $100 billion in equity assets.
