Camper Appointed Gov Affairs Head at NYSE Euronext
Clarke Dryden Camper has been appointed senior vice president, head of government affairs and public advocacy at NYSE Euronext.
Camper will be based in Washington, D.C. and report to John Halvey, general counsel and group executive vice president at NYSE Euronext. He will be responsible for the company’s government affairs and public advocacy programs.
In a statement, Duncan Niederauer, Chief Executive Officer, NYSE Euronext, said, “Clarke is a highly skilled and seasoned professional whose extensive experience in the public and private sectors will be extremely beneficial to NYSE Euronext and our constituents during this time of great change in our capital markets.”
Added Halvey, “We look forward to Clarke joining and augmenting our Washington D.C. presence. This is a significant step in our ongoing efforts to better represent the investor and issuer communities on matters that impact their future and that of the marketplace.”
Previously, Camper was vice president of global external affairs at GE Money, a subsidiary of General Electric Company.
