ESP Names Joshua Levine CEO
Joshua S. Levine has been named CEO of DMA and algorithm provider Electronic Specialist (ESP). Levine will help ESP expand its technology platform and penetrate new markets. "We'll be opening up in Asia in September and are looking [at] emerging markets, such as Eastern Europe, India and Latin America," he says.
Previously, Levine was managing director of Kita Capital Management. Prior to that, he was chief technology and operations officer at E*Trade Financial. He also has held positions at Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley.
"[The buy side] has always been long on strategy, but execution was difficult as they didn't have the infrastructure," says Levine. "I jumped at the chance to work with ESP, as we provide the infrastructure."
