Patsystems taps Richard Unger to spearhead sales in North America
To strengthen its North American team, Patsystems hired Richard Unger has vice president of sales in New York as it prepares to launch TradeMark later this year. Unger hails from GL Trade Americas, where he was regional sales manager. For the past 12 years he has held a variety of positions in institutional sales at Bloomberg Tradebook, Bridge Information Systems, Merrill Lynch and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
The London-based supplier of electronic-trading systems says Richard's appointment reflects the growth of Patsystem's business in North America. It is also eyeing increased sales opportunities associated with the completion of TradeMark, its next-generation trading-platform, which it expects to roll out from the second half of 2004. The platform is designed for large financial institutions as well as independent traders, the company says.
