ICAP Launches Global Currency Data Feed
ICAP, an interdealer broker and source of global market information and commentary for professionals in the international financial markets, has launched a new global currency data feed. The ICAP Global Currency Data Feed is a proprietary feed of real time streaming prices from a selection of sources, including ICAP's electronic spot FX broking platform EBS and ICAP's internal pricing systems. The feed comprises prices for more than 155 currency pairs and cross currency pairs from more than 180 countries in both established and emerging markets. "As part of ICAP's market data strategy to continually enhance and develop key pricing services, the new ICAP Global Currency Data Feed offers increased global coverage as well as frequency of update. We believe the ICAP Global Currency Data Feed will further improve our customers' ability to react with confidence to market conditions through access to this definitive source of spot FX market data," said Antoine Kohler, managing director, ICAP Information Services, in a press release.
"In securing our expanded business partnership with ICAP in April this year, QUICK Corporation reviewed the new ICAP Global Currency Data Feed content and decided it would be a key component to our overall FX offerings to our customers, and also complement the existing EBS FX data also carried on the QUICK Corporation product services in Japan," said Ryo Takahashi, deputy managing director of the Global Data, in the press release.
