Kaplan Financial (Chicago) released Compliance Management System Generation 2 (CMS G2), a Web-enabled employment management system designed to provide automated workflow support for the processes associated with securities representatives at securities firms, and help firms comply with state and federal certification requirements.

CMS G2 integrates the tasks and workflow associated with managing the representative lifecycle by automating five key areas within a firm: new hire processing; licensing, registration and appointment processing; broker-dealer data exchange; compliance maintenance; and continuing education completion, Kaplan claims. "CMS G2 ... ensures that all steps are completely, properly and thoroughly documented to ensure compliance," said J.R. Berry, EVP and managing director of compliance services at Kaplan Financial, in a release.
