Financial Cocktails Reflect The Year-in-Review
Cognito, a media relations company with clients in financial services and financial technology, has announced its Financial Market Cocktail Index, an indicator of industry activity over the last 12-months that is debuted at its annual holiday party in New York.
The names of the cocktails and recipes reflect the recent developments in regulation and Fed activity. Cognito tried to incorporate a drink called the “Dodd-Frank Bill”, but realized that it would require too many ingredients to practically implement.
The media firm plans to serve these amusing financial cocktails at its annual party:
The Flash Smash - This invigorating muddle of guava, tequila and lime will knock you down then bring you back up instantaneously!
The O Tea C Derivative - Our version of the Long Island classic, this mix of spirits is highly liquid yet dangerous for the untrained.
Cointreau-tative Easing - A favorite tipple at the Fed, this orange liqueur cocktail is sure to stimulate - but too much can cause a massive headache
The SEF - Schnapps Execution Facility. A peachy solution to risky drinking.
Naked Access - Cut out the middle-man and ask the bartender to pour your shot of choice directly in to your mouth! EDIT: THIS DRINK CHOICE WAS RECENTLY BANNED BY THE MANAGEMENT.
