AXS-One Releases Enterprise Financials Version 9.0-Compliance Edition

AXS-One, a Rutherford, N.J.-based provider of records compliance management software, released Enterprise 9.0 - Compliance Edition, the latest version of its financial management solution. The new offering includes enhancements to the existing Enterprise Financial suite and also is designed to help address issues behind compliance and corporate governance. Enterprise 9.0 - Compliance Edition gives CFOs and other financial managers a strategic and tactical view of corporate performance, providing the tools to build a Web-based scorecard with key performance indicators (KPIs) providing context for analysis. Through its suite of Internet enabled, process-centric financial applications (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Fixed Assets and Time Billing), clients are able to improve visibility while maintaining secure access in order to meet the reporting and control requirements placed upon them by regulations like Sarbanes-Oxley and Basel II. Richard Steinberg Speaks on Compliance and Risk at Regulatory Compliance Seminar Series

Richard Steinberg, an authority on corporate risk management and governance, will present "Beyond Sarbanes-Oxley: Building Sustainable Risk Management and Compliance Initiatives for Business Benefit" at a series of national seminars sponsored by Acton, Mass.-based Lumigent Technologies.

Steinberg was the lead project partner in developing the COSO Internal Control - Integrated Framework, now recognized as a landmark representing the standard of internal controls, and played a similar role in the COSO's Enterprise Risk Management - Integrated Framework. At the upcoming programs in Toronto, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, New York and Boston, he will share his compliance and risk management expertise, focusing on: assessing the current regulatory and risk climate; developing an easier, sustainable compliance process; gaining business benefit from Sarbanes-Oxley 404 efforts; identifying the most efficient roles and responsibilities for key internal stakeholders. Algorithmics Unveils Algo Suite 4.5 for Basel II

Algorithmics has released Algo Suite 4.5, the latest version of its suite of enterpriserisk management solutions. The solution's enhancements are designed to improve the integration of economic capital measurement and regulatory compliance, introduce credit workflow functionality, and reduce the complexity and cost of ownership. It provides a platform for the integration of market, credit, asset liability and operational risk functions, and includes Algorithmics' Algo Market, Algo Credit, Algo Capital, Algo Collateral, Algo OpVantage and Algo Risk products.
