Windward Advisory Group Hires Veteran Tech Expert Bob Shepro
Bob Shepro has joined Windward Advisory Group, an investment industry technology and operations consulting firm, as a partner in the firm.
Previously, Shepro was founder and CEO of Shepro Braun Systems (acquired in 1998), a software provider to the investment industry. It was there that he designed and brought to market the first integrated real-time trading, portfolio management, financial accounting, partnership and trust system which addressed the complex needs of hedge funds, family offices, fund administrators, and investment managers.
Shepro was also founder and CEO of WealthMetrics, a SaaS vendor providing wealth management applications to financial institutions.
Windward says it specializes in bringing best practices, financial applications, practical operational solutions and right-scale technology to its clients.
"We are excited to have Bob on the team. His background and expertise adds a new perspective for our clients that will lead us into new practice areas", Hugh Bagatelle, one of the founding partners, stated in a release.
Shepro will merge his existing consulting practice into Windward. His recent projects have included technology strategy, application integration, system selection and technology effectiveness reviews.

The firm's other partners include Hugh Bagatelle - who has 20 years experience as CTO at Bessemer Trust Company; Jim Campbell - previously SVP of Operations and Client Services at Fiduciary Trust Company; Ritch Gaiti - prior Senior Director responsible for Advanced Office Technology at Merrill Lynch; and Elaine Spang - past financial and operations executive at a multi-family office and co-founder of Family Office Metrics consulting firm.
