Steve Webber Joins RBS to Head Electronic FX Sales and Marketing

Previously with Barclays Capital, Webber will be responsible for electronic FX sales and marketing to RBS' Fixed Income client base.

RBS has hired Steve Webber as director, electronic markets financial institutions FX sales, GBM Americas, based in Stamford, Conn.

In his new role, Webber will be responsible for electronic FX sales and marketing to thefFixed income (FI) client base. He will report to Matthew Thomas, US head of electronic market sales.

Webber joins the RBS team from Barclays Capital where he covered direct sales and relationship management of BARX, Barclay's single bank cross-product platform. He brings more than 10 years of experience in FX client services as well as sales and product development knowledge within the electronic markets arena.
